A well-known public institution needed to get 'buy-in' to a sustainability project from its trustees and other stakeholders. Knowing David's long track record of success as an editor and writer, the head of communications asked him to help. He delivered a very readable 32-page A4 mini-book which helped secure the trustees' agreement to the project. This led to further work on other publications for the same organisation.

While at Freeform Dynamics, David was the lead author of a 'Green IT for Dummies' mini-book, sponsored by HP and published by Wiley. He also wrote a Green IT mini-book for the ICAEW (Institute for Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) which focused primarily on resource efficiency and cost savings.
